Your account: sign in, create an account, and where billing lives
Your BuyBox account is the same one on the web app and the desktop app; sign in on either and your saved deals, settings, and plan follow you. This page covers signing in, creating an account, resetting a forgotten password, and where your email and plan live once you're signed in. The panel below is a working replica — try it, or press Watch it done.
Try it 0/3
- Switch to the Create account tab
- Type an email address
- Check Remember me
Welcome back
Sign in to your BuyBox account.
Where your account settings live
Once you're signed in, your account info is in Settings → Account — the same screen on web and desktop:
Your email is set when you sign up (or by Google, if you used Continue with Google) and isn't editable from that screen. Manage Subscription opens Paddle's billing portal for updating your card, grabbing an invoice, or cancelling — see Manage your subscription for the full walkthrough.
Signing out
Click your initials in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then Sign out at the bottom. Signing out doesn't touch your saved deals or settings — they're on your account, waiting for you next time you sign in.
Creating an account
Switch to the Create account tab, enter an email and a password (at least 6 characters), and submit. That starts your 7-day free trial, no card required: 3 Deep Dives and 10 Quick Analyses, with the full verdict and see-the-math on every one. If you'd rather skip typing a password, Continue with Google creates (or signs into) the same account using your Google identity.
Resetting a forgotten password
From the Sign in tab, click Forgot password?, enter your email, and click Send reset link. As the replica above shows, that email's link always opens the reset page in the web app — requesting it from the desktop app doesn't change that, so keep a browser handy to finish the reset.
Staying signed in
Check Remember me to skip retyping your email and password next time. On desktop, that's separate from BuyBox's own security check: even with a saved session, the desktop app asks for a fresh, interactive sign-in every 30 days to confirm your account is still in good standing.
Trouble signing in?
Wrong password, an email that won't confirm, or anything else account-related: email [email protected]. Billing or subscription questions go to [email protected] instead — see Manage your subscription.
