Can I import my REIA files?
No — there's no import tool, and we won't pretend otherwise. Your RealData licenses keep working for existing deals; BuyBox is for the next ones. A Quick Analysis takes minutes, so re-entering an active deal is minutes, not hours.
Does BuyBox do after-tax, partnership or commercial modeling?
No. REIA modeled those; we deliberately don't. BuyBox is built for 1–4-unit BRRRR and buy-and-hold screening and underwriting. If commercial partnership modeling is your core need, we're not your tool — and we'd rather tell you that here.
Where does my data live?
BuyBox runs its analysis on your own device — the math is computed locally, not on our servers. Your deals are then saved to your BuyBox account, encrypted in transit and at rest and isolated to you, so they’re on every device you sign in to — in the browser and in the desktop app. Using BuyBox requires an account.
Am I locked in?
Your numbers stay portable. Pro includes lender-ready Excel export — a two-tab workbook with live formulas and a full amortization schedule — and you can request a complete export of your data at any time by emailing [email protected].
